Intellectual Property
All content on www.joinmewa.com (text, images, logos, graphics, videos, the name "mewa" and the symbol "æ") is the exclusive property of mewa and is protected by intellectual property law applicable in Senegal and the OHADA zone.
Any reproduction, representation, modification, publication, adaptation, or distribution, even partial, is prohibited without prior written authorisation from mewa.
Preamble
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of www.joinmewa.com and all services offered by mewa. mewa is a platform that connects Businesses and Content Creators.
Registering for or using the Site constitutes full acceptance of these Terms.
Article 1: Definitions

Article 2: Access to the Site
The Site is freely accessible to any User with an internet connection. Access to matchmaking services is reserved for registered Users who have completed the registration form, accepted these Terms, and provided accurate information.
Article 3: Registration and User Account
Upon registration, the User agrees to provide truthful and up-to-date information and is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials.
The User may request account deletion at any time by contacting hello@joinmewa.com. Deletion takes effect within 7 business days.

Article 5: Commissions

Businesses pay no platform fee beyond the amount agreed with the Creator.
Article 6: Liability
mewa acts as an intermediary and is not a party to collaboration agreements between Businesses and Creators. mewa cannot be held liable for content created, the quality of services rendered, or failure to meet commitments by either party.
Article 7: Intellectual Property of Creations
Creators retain intellectual property rights over their work, unless expressly transferred by contract. The Business obtains a licence for the duration and purpose specified. Any additional use requires a written amendment.
Article 8: Payment and Escrow
Payments are secured via an escrow system: the Business deposits the agreed amount, the Creator delivers the content, the Business validates delivery, then mewa releases payment after deducting the commission. In the event of a dispute, payment is held until resolution.
Article 9: Disputes and Mediation
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution within 15 days. Any unresolved dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dakar, Senegal.
Article 10: Changes to the Terms
mewa reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
